Privacy

Coffee Radar collects nothing about you. Your taste profile, and the coffees you mark as bought or passed, are scored and kept on your own device and are never sent to the project. There are no accounts, cookies or analytics.

The app asks only for the published coffee feed and, if you look up a roaster location by postal code, one small table of postal codes for that country (the code you type picks the country and is never sent); the desktop app also checks for updates. Where bag pictures are shown, your device loads them straight from each roaster’s own server. Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the feed, and a roaster’s picture server can each see your IP address, as any website would. If you set up email alerts in the desktop app, they go through the mail account you choose.

Feedback is a plain email to hello@coffeeradar.app. Your message and address reach the maintainer’s mailbox, and the project keeps no other copy and no database of them.
